I Said, She Said, Ah Cid - The Exploito Psych World Of Alshire Records 1967-71 ist die erste Anthologie eines der produktivsten Budget-Labels der Sixties, präsentiert auf 3 prall gefüllten CDs. Zur Illustration gibt es ein 32-seitiges Booklet mit vielen seltenen Fotos, Bandzitaten und einem umfassenden Bericht, der zum ersten Mal die düstere, Labyrinth artige Welt von Alshire detailliert untersucht. Besitzer Al Sherman und sein notorischer Partner Dave Miller ließen sich von führenden Produzenten und Songwritern fertige Master anliefern, die dann in einer Vielzahl von fiktiven Gruppennamen veröffentlicht wurden. Ebenso trug eine Reihe von englischen Pop und Rock Bands (oft ohne davon zu wissen) ihren Teil dazu bei, den hohen Output des Labels zu gewährleisten. Dieses 3-CD-Set versammelt die Alshire Highlights und Key-Releases des späten 60er und frühen 70er Rosters, u. a. mit dabei The Animated Egg, Astro-Sounds From Beyond The Year 2000, The California Poppy Pickers, u. v.m.
