Der englische TV-Moderator und DJ Gary Crowley gründete Ende der 1970er Jahre das New-Wave-Fanzine The Modern World und interviewte viele der bedeutendsten Bands dieser Jahre, darunter die Sex Pistols, The Clash oder The Jam. Bereits mit Volume 1 hat er 2019 eine umfangreiche 4-CD-Box mit vergessenen 80er Jahre-Tracks zusammengestellt.
Songs die zwar oftmals erstklassig sind, aber damals immer ein wenig unter dem Radar liefen. Das zweite Boxset wartet wieder mit insgesamt 65 von Crowley kuratierten Songs auf. Darunter The Style Council ('Mick's Up'), The Undertones ('Save Me'), Madness ('Keep Moving'), Sade ('Why Can't We Live Together'), The Kane Gang ('Respect Yourself'), Theatre Of Hate ('The Hop'), The B-52's ('Legal Tender') u. v.a.
