Moondance
Die Blu-ray Audio Disc (auch Pure Audio Blu-ray) ist technisch gesehen eine ganz normale Blu-ray Disc und lässt sich auf jedem Blu-ray-Player abspielen. Allerdings enthält sie keinen Videoinhalt. Die hohe Speicherkapazität wird für hochauflösende Audiodaten (Stereo und Surround, bis 24 bit/192 kHz) genutzt. Bedient wird sie entweder ohne Bildschirm wie eine herkömmliche CD oder über das Onscreen-Menü wie eine normale Blu-ray Disc.

Es war im Herbst 1969, als Van Morrison ins Studio ging, um jenes Album aufzunehmen, das zu seinem Durchbruch und einem der meistgeliebten Alben aller Zeiten wurde: Moondance.
Moondance erschien im Februar 1970 und wurde von der RIAA mit dreifachem US-Platin ausgezeichnet. 1999 wurde es in die Grammy Hall Of Fame aufgenommen und 2003 vom Rolling Stone auf Position 65 in die Liste »500 Greatest Albums of All Time« geführt.
Mit dieser Ausgabe wird der Blick hinter den Vorhang auf die Entstehung eines Meisterwerks erweitert. Der RIAA-Platin-zertifizierte Klassiker wurde von Van Morrison selbst geschrieben und komponiert und wird oft als Wegbereiter der »Soft-Rock«-Ära angesehen. Zu den Hits der Sammlung gehören »Come Running«, »Into the Mystic», »Crazy Love« und natürlich der Titelsong »Moondance«.
