Die von James Paul Wiser (Dashboard Confessional, Further Seems Forever, Paramore) produzierte LP gilt in der Szene als Wendepunkt. Die Mischung aus Metal- und Hardcore-Einflüssen mit einem Gespür für Pop-Punk liess einen neuen Sound in der Heavy-Musik entstehen, der zum Synonym für die Scream-Szene Mitte der Nullerjahre wurde. 2011 wurde das Album mit Gold ausgezeichnet.
