Thunder live – eine gute Entscheidung
»Stage«, der Name des aktuellen Thunder-Outputs ist Programm: Die Londoner Hardrock-Institution präsentiert 2018 einen Konzertmitschnitt in Bild und Ton.
Dafür ließen Thunder bei ihrem denkwürdigen Konzert in Cardiff am 24. März 2017 im Rahmen ihrer UK-Tour Kameras und Ton mitlaufen. Eine gute Entscheidung, denn das Resultat sind ein Livealbum und ein Konzertfilm der Extraklasse.
Insgesamt 16 Songs warten auf »Stage«, darunter zahlreiche Stücke von ihrem letzten Album »Rip It Up« (2016), aber auch Klassiker wie »I Love You More Than Rock’n’Roll« und »Dirty Love«. Mit »The Thing I Want« lieferten Thunder bereits vorab einen ersten Ausschnitt des Livealbums bzw. Konzertfilms, und der macht definitiv Lust auf mehr.
»Stage« ist als DVD, Blu-ray Disc, Doppel-CD inklusive Blu-ray sowie als 3-LP-Set erhältlich. Auf der DVD bzw. Blu-ray warten neben dem Konzert auch Interviews mit der Band und Bonusclips.
Für echte Fans gibt es »Stage« außerdem als limitiertes Box-Set. Dieses enthält zusätzlich eine Aufzeichnung des »Live At The 100 Club«-Sets, des »29 Minutes Later«-Akustik-Gigs sowie die Dokumentation »A Difficult Day In January: Thunder In London«.
