ABKCO Records veröffentlicht zum allerersten Mal eine Vinyl-Edition von "Retrospective", der definitiven 22-Track-Sammlung der in die Rock and Roll Hall of Fame aufgenommenen The Animals aus den Jahren 1964-1970. Ursprünglich 2004 auf CD und SACD erschienen, versammelt das schwarze 180-Gramm-2LP-Set alle vierzehn US-Top-40-Hits von The Animals und der späten 60er-Jahre-Besetzung Eric Burdon & The Animals, darunter "See See Rider", "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood", "San Franciscan Nights" und der transatlantische Nummer-eins-Hit "House Of The Rising Sun". Den Abschluss des Sets bildet der 1970er-Hit "Spill The Wine" von Eric Burdon & War.
