Lost In A Dream / This Time We Mean It
The SACD uses a higher digital resolution than the audio CD and also offers the possibility to store multi-channel sound (surround sound). To enjoy the music in high-end quality, a special SACD player is required. Thanks to the hybrid function, most of the products marked "SACD" in our store can also be played on conventional CD players. In this case, however, the sound does not differ from that of a normal CD. In case of deviations, we point this out separately (non-hybrid).

Als REO Speedwagon in den Achtzigerjahren Erfolge wie »Keep on Loving You« oder »Can't Fight this Feeling« feierte – die aufgrund eines Cameo-Auftritts in der Netflix-Krimiserie »Ozark« 2020 nochmals in die Charts gelangten –, hatte die Band schon über ein Jahrzehnt in unterschiedlicher Besetzung existiert.
Mit »Lost In A Dream« erreichte sie 1974 erstmals eine Notierung in der Hitparade – auf Platz 98. Ein Jahr später, mit dem nochmals etwas glatteren »This Time We Mean It«, schaffte es die Band, die sich nach einem Modell des Autopioniers Ransom E. Olds benannt hatte, auf Rang 74. Damit war die wichtige kommerzielle Hürde (75) für die Kaufhaus-Sortimente genommen.
Seit 2022 auch als SACD!
