“Music To Scream To” ist Poppys drittes Ambient- und erstes Noise-Album. Es wurde am 20. Oktober 2020 als Soundtrack zu ihrer zweiten Graphic Novel, „Poppy's Inferno“, veröffentlicht.
Der Titel folgt einem Schema, das sich durch alle Ambient-Alben von Poppy zieht: das erste heißt „3: 36 (Music To Sleep To)“ und das zweite „i. c.u (Music To Read To)“.Trotz der Ähnlichkeiten im Titel klingt „Music To Scream To“ jedoch nicht wie seine Vorgänger. Es ist ein raues und aggressives Noise-Album.
Poppy deutete den Sound von „Music To Scream To“ zum ersten Mal in einem Podcast mit Creatures of the Night von The Boulet Brothers an, indem sie sagte: „Es ist ein Noise-Album. Ich hatte i. c.u (Music To Read To), das zu meiner vorherigen Graphic Novel passte, und ja, dieses hier heißt „Music To Scream To“.
