Wie schon Ende letzten Jahres angekündigt zog es Nonpoint zu Spinefarm Records, um da ihr neues Album zu veröffentlichen. Jetzt ist es amtlich, ihr neues Werk hört auf den Namen »The Poison Red«.
Von ihrem Debut »Statement« (2000) bis zum letzten Werk »The Return« (2014) hat die Band durchegehend an Rock-Ohrwürmern wie ihren Single-Hit »Breaking Skin« gearbeitet, der 2014 der meistgespielte Song im Sirius XM Octane Channel war. Man kann sagen, dass sie ähnlich wie Korn, Deftones, Disturbed oder Slipknot erfolgreiche Überlebende der Nuller-Jahre Metal Welle sind.
»The Poison Red« ist ihr neuntes Album und Sänger Elias Soriano ist sehr zufrieden mit dem Ergebnis: »This record tells a lot of stories. Going from guts to glory.
