Neonfly, welche 2008 als Idee des Gitarristen und Komponisten Frederick Thunder gegründet wurden, veröffentlichten bisher zwei von der Kritik gelobte Alben und eine Debüt-EP. Durch unzählige Tourneen mit Acts wie Sonata Arctica, Dragonforce, Epica und Alice Cooper hat sich die Band aus England schnell einen Namen in der Szene erspielt und läutet nun mit ihrem dritten Studioalbum das nächste Kapitel ein.

Produziert wurde »The Future, Tonight« von dem für den Grammy nominierten Produzenten Romesh Dodangoda (Bring Me The Horizon, Motörhead) und von Miro Rodenberg (Avantasia, Kamelot). Das atemberaubende Album-Artwork stammt vom koreanischen Künstler Gyeong Hwan Noh »Noma«.
