Eine Aufnahme von Neil Youngs Überraschungsauftritt im New Yorker Bottom Line am 16. Mai 1974 kursiert schon seit Jahrzehnten in Fankreisen, aber jetzt sie endlich offiziell als Teil von Youngs neuer offizieller Bootleg-Serie veröffentlicht. Er nennt es The Bottom Line - "Citizen Kane Jr. Blues".
In Neil Youngs langer und geschichtsträchtiger Karriere haben einige Konzerte durch die Praxis des Bootlegging einen geradezu epischen Ruf erlangt. Endlich veröffentlicht der große kanadische Rocker auch 'bootlegged' Aufnahmen, die als Vinylversionen erhältlich sind. Jetzt ist das Konzert im Bottom Line in New York vom 16. Mai 1974 an der Reihe. Citizen KANE JR. BLUES enthält Pushed It Over the End, einen Song, der durch die Entführung von Patti Hearst inspiriert wurde und den er damals "Citizen Kane Jr. Blues" nannte, sowie Live-Previews von Long May You Run, On the Beach, Motion Pictures (bis heute die einzige erhaltene Live-Performance) und Pardon My Heart.
