McLusky ist eine Band, die eine Band war, keine Band war und dann wieder eine Band ist. Sie wurde in den späten Neunzigern gegründet und löste sich 2005 zum ersten Mal auf, nach drei Alben, zu denen man im Internet Meinungen finden kann. Der Weg zur Wiedergründung als Band begann 2014, wobei die Band sporadische Auftritte spielte und nach einigen Missgeschicken, die auf das Leben in seinen wundervollsten Formen zurückzuführen sind, werden sie 2025 ihre erste Platte seit zwanzig Jahren veröffentlichen: »The World Is Still Here And So Are We«.
