Die aus Miami stammenden Metal-Wahnsinnigen Maruta kehren mit ihrem Debüt für Relapse, »Remain Dystopian«, welches ihr bisher wohl härtestes und am meisten gebündeltes Album darstellt, zurück in die Szene.
Das Album wurde in verschiedenen Studios aufgenommen, unter anderem mit dem Drummer Scott Hull von Pig Destroyer's und dem Vokalisten Jonathan Nuñez von Torche, was Remain Dystopian zu einem teuflischen 17-Song Feuerwerk von unerbittlichem und ansteckendem Death Metal-durchdrungenen-Grindcore macht.
Durch Gastauftritte wie Vocals vom legendären Tomas Lindberg (At the Gates, Disfear), Pig Destroyer's J.R. Hayes und Nosebleeds Jay Randall, zeigt »Remain Dystopian«, zu was moderner Grindcore fähig ist und hebt die Messlatte des Genres deutlich an.
