Alex Conde lebte mehr als 15 Jahre in den Vereinigten Staaten, wo er seine musikalischen Studien vertieft und mehrere musikalische Werke von großer Bedeutung komponiert hat. Vom Flamenco und lateinamerikanischen Rhythmen ausgehend beschäftigte er sich mit der Musk von Thelonious Monk and Bud Powell, zwei der großen Architekten der Bebop-Revolution im Jazz. Die Pandemie brachte den jungen Künstler schließlich wieder zurück in die Heimat, wo er sich zusammen mit Julio Martí einem neuen Projekt annimmt: »Alex Conde y los Indultados«.
