»Panorama« heißt der Nachfolger von »Rooms Of The House«, der ganze fünf Jahre auf sich warten ließ.
Jetzt ist er aber endlich am Start und kommt, wie sollte es auch anders sein, mit Melancholie, Dramatik, und in gewohnter Spoken-Word-Manier daher.
Inhaltlich ist »Panorama« das bislang persönlichste Album der Band geworden. Die Inspiration fand Frontmann Jordan Dreyer auf einer Heimfahrt von Grand Rapids, Michigan nach Lowell zusammen mit seiner Freundin.
Wie die Platte klingt, verrieten La Dispute vorab bereits mit drei Singles: »Rose Quartz/Fulton Street«, »Footsteps At The Pond« und »Rhodonite And Grief«.
Insgesamt warten zehn neue Songs auf »Panorama«, an denen die Band seit Ende 2017 gemeinsam mit Produzent Will Yip arbeitete.
La Dispute bleiben einzigartig und zeigen 2019 einmal mehr ihre ganz eigene Perspektive auf die Hardcore-Landschaft. »Panorama« heißt der beeindruckende Beweis.
