Als Sänger, Gitarrist und Songwriter von Creedance Clearwater Revival wurde John Fogerty ein Star. Bis zu ihrem Split hatte die Band neun Top 10 Hits in den USA, alle stammten aus John's Feder. Fogerty machte Solo weiter, veröffentlichte Alben allerdings in großen Zeitabständen. Doch die Fanbase ist treu und geduldig. Nur fünf Studioalben in 25 Jahren, aber alle schafften den Sprung in die Charts, Centerfield rangierte sogar auf Platz 1 der Billboard 200. Das bisher letzte Lebenszeichen markiert das Live-Album Premonition, das erstmals 1998 veröffentlicht wurde. Noch in diesem Herbst wird das neue Studioalbum von John Fogerty in den Läden stehen. Gut, dass das Live Album Premonition, die einzige Sammlung von Creedance Clearwater und John Fogerty Solo Hits, wieder erhältlich ist.
