At the turn of the eighties enigmatic would-be popstar Gary Knight teamed up with enigmatic artstar Cameron Lindo, and theirs was a whispering, sweet, mysterious sound, the warble of Casiotones in a cathedral, Coventry Cathedral to be precise. You could tell that these guys walked hand in hand with their girlfriends in the ruins at midnight, and even if that wasn't true it might as well have been, though a sudden attack of bongo fury may have sometimes interrupted loves young dreamers – these things could and did happen. This inventive duo could sound vaster than a full on band, their unorthodox instrumental versatility gave them a beautiful sonic palette, and their surprisingly erotically charged lyrics gave evidence that nice boys DID. And frequently too. Now released for the first time on CD, some 33 years after it's vinyl debut, the duo's initial mini LP »The Initial Caress« hits the shelves. Digitally remastered by original producer John A. Rivers, boosted by 6 bonus demos, nicely packaged and wrapped in a card gatefold sleeve with a 12 page booklet full of notes and pics.
