Die Show, die 2006 zum ersten Mal auf dem Fernsehsender VH1 bei »Decades Rock Live« ausgestrahlt wurde, erscheint als neuer Mix und komplett remastert, und zwar als CD, Doppel-LP, DVD, Blu-ray und im Set mit CD und Blu-ray.
»Live In Atlantic City« feiert das musikalische Werk der Band mit vielen Künstlern und Freunden, die zusammen mit der Band um Ann und Nancy Wilson auf der Bühne standen. Dazu gehören Stars wie Red-Hot-Chili-Peppers-Gitarrist Dave Navarro, die Countrysängerinnen Carrie Underwood und Gretchen Wilson, Alice-In-Chains- und Guns-N’-Roses-Bassist Duff McKagan und der kanadische Singer-Songwriter Rufus Wainwright. Fast alle Künstler performten gleich zwei oder drei Songs zusammen mit Heart.
