Grandaddy ist eine US-amerikanische Indie-Rock-Band aus Modesto, Kalifornien, die 1992 gegründet wurde. Die Band ist bekannt für ihren experimentellen Rock und ihre Lo-Fi-Einflüsse und integriert oft Elemente aus Electronica und Space Rock in ihren Sound. Die Band wurde von Sänger, Gitarrist und Keyboarder Jason Lytle zusammen mit Bassist Kevin Garcia, Schlagzeuger Aaron Burtch, Gitarrist Jim Fairchild und Keyboarder Tim Dryden gegründet.
