Flotsam and Jetsam aus Arizona geben im Sommer 2003 ein Live-Konzert in ihrer Heimatstadt Phoenix.

Live in Phoenix ist die erste Live-Video-Veröffentlichung von Flotsam and Jetsam aus Arizona, die am 22. Juni 2004 das Licht der Welt erblickte. Die Band war 20 Jahre lang aktiv, bevor sie etwas Ähnliches herausbrachte. Die DVD enthält ein Live-Set, das im Juli 2003 in ihrer Heimatstadt Phoenix, Arizona, aufgenommen wurde. Das Set wird mit »No Place for Disgrace« eröffnet. Die Songs stammen von allen Alben vom 1986er Debüt Doomsday for the Deceiver bis zum 2001er My God, nur nicht von High. Die Setlist ist eine Mischung aus knackigem, hochoktanigem Thrash Metal und groovigeren, fast schon progressiven Stücken, sowie ruhigeren Momenten.

»Hammerhead«, vom Debütalbum, ist echter Thrash, während »Chemical Noose« von 1999 ein schwungvoller und grooviger Kracher ist. »Wading through the Darkness« ist ein äußerst düsteres Stück mit langsamem Tempo, das aber auch live gut funktioniert.
