"Wake Me When It's Over" ist das zweite Album von Faster Pussycat, das 1989 veröffentlicht wurde. Auf diesem Album bewegte sich die schäbige Hollywood-Band (deren Name aus einem Russ-Meyer-Film stammt) weg vom Glam-Metal des ersten Albums hin zu einem eher bluesbeeinflussten Sound. Es enthält die Power-Ballade "House of Pain", die der erste große kommerzielle Hit der Band war. Das Musikvideo wurde von dem zukünftigen Filmregisseur Michael Bay gedreht. Das Album erreichte Platz 48 der Billboard 200 und die Single "House of Pain" Platz 28 der Billboard Hot 100.
"Wake Me When It's Over" ist als nummerierte, auf 1000 Exemplare limitierte Auflage auf goldfarbenem Vinyl erhältlich und enthält eine Beilage.
