Mitte der 70er Jahre gründeten Len Coley und Roddy Harris in Birmingham die Formation Delegation. Einige Zeit später stieß der aus Jamaika stammende Sänger Ricky Bailey dazu und komplettierte die Gruppe. Delegation arbeiteten mit dem bekannten Hit-Produzenten Ken Gold zusammen, der beispielsweise auch The Nolans, Liquid Gold oder Billy Ocean produzierte.
40 Jahre und zahlreiche Chart-Erfolge später, rechtzeitig zur anstehenden Jubiläumstour, erscheint jetzt auf Cherry Red Records eine Best-Of-Compilation mit dem Titel »In Love's Time – The Delegation Story 1976-1983«.
