Die Band hatte schon immer eine starke Affinität zu Naturthemen und das 10. CORONATUS-Album »Atmosphere« bildet keine Ausnahme. Musikalisch ist das Album vielfältiger denn je.
Es gibt selbstverständlich typische CORONATUS-Songs mit bombastischen Orchesterarrangements (»To The Gods Of Wind & Sun«, »Williwaw«, »Justice In The Sky«, »The Distance«), aber auch Songs mit starkem Folk-Einfluss (»Keeper Of Souls«, »The Swarm«) oder sogar mittelalterliche Einflüsse (»Time Of The Raven«). Auch musikalische Ausflüge in exotischere Gefilde - wie bei »Firedance« und »Big City Life« - hat die Band unternommen.
Die erfahrene Sängerin Moni Francis mit ihrer Rockstimme und ihr Mezzosopran-Gegenpart Leni Eitrich sorgen dafür, dass das bewährte Konzept von CORONATUS mit zwei unterschiedlichen Frauenstimmen beim Gesang fortgeführt wird.
