Conception ist eine norwegische Power/Progressive-Metal-Band, die von 1989 bis 1997 aktiv war. Sie haben sich 2018 wiedervereinigt und sind seitdem aktiv auf Tour und veröffentlichen neue Musik.
Dank der Integration von Flamenco-Elementen durch den Gitarristen Tore Østby und dem opernhaften Gesang des Sängers Roy Khan hat die Band einen einzigartigen Sound in ihrem Genre kreiert. Ihr Debütalbum, »The Last Sunset«, wurde 1991 veröffentlicht und wird nun erstmals auf Vinyl wiederveröffentlicht.
Alle Titel wurden neu gemastert und erscheinen auf blauem Doppelvinyl und als CD mit unveröffentlichten Bonustracks
