Heavy Psych Sounds legt 2022 einen Stoner-Rock-Klassiker neu auf, und zwar als CD, Black Vinyl und Yellow Vinyl mit neuem Artwork: »Somera Sól« von Brant Bjork & The Bros.
Das Album erschien ursprünglich am 8. Mai 2007 als Nachfolger von »Saved By Magic« aus dem Jahr 2005. Außerdem hatte der amerikanische Musiker, Sänger, Songwriter, Multiinstrumentalist, Produzent und Bandchef Brant Bjork kurz zuvor sein akustisches Soloalbum »Tres Dias« veröffentlicht.
Alle neun Songs auf »Somera Sól« wurden von Brant Bjork geschrieben. Aufgenommen und gemischt wurden sie von Mathias Cornelius von Schneeberger bei Donner and Blitzen in Arcadia, Kalifornien, produziert von Brant Bjork und Ryan Snyder für Duna Productions. Das Mastering übernahm Evren Gokner bei Capitol.
Auf »Somera Sól« bekommt er Unterstützung vom ehemaligen Kyuss-Schlagzeuger Alfredo Hernandez, außerdem gibt es Gastauftritte von Sean Wheeler von Throw Rag und Mario Lalli von Fatso Jetson.
