Unter dem Titel »Where The Light Is« ist die brandneue Live-CD des 30-jährigen US-Sängers, Songwriters und Gitarristen erschienen. Es wurde ein einmaliges Konzert-Event mitgeschnitten, das am 8. Dezember 2007 im Nokia Theater in Los Angeles stattfand. Das Besondere: Nacheinander spielte Mayer drei Sets – einem Akustik-Auftritt folgte eine Performance mit dem John Mayer Trio (mit Steve Jordan und Pino Palladino) und zum Abschluss betrat er schließlich in Begleitung seiner kompletten Band die Bühne. Ein Must Have für jeden Musik-Liebhaber.
