Der Titel der neuen CD von lsmail Türker und Musikkollegen ist zugleich Inhaltsbeschreibung: Türkische Städte und Stätten werden poetisch und musikalisch ausgemalt. Es geht von lstanbul über lzmir in den Süden bis nach Patara an der lykischen Küste. Halt gemacht wird auf dieser musikalischen Wanderung durch die Türkei in den Metropolen wie auch in kleinen Dörfern, auf sonnenverbrannter Erde, unter üppigen Weinlauben, am rauschenden Meer. Der Osnabrücker Künstler lsmail Türker überrascht seine Zuhörer bei seinen Auftritten immer mit neuen Konstellationen: mal als Solist, im Duo oder Trio oder mal mit voller Band - diesmal präsentiert er einen neuen Verbund mit ,,Saite an Seite", genannt ,,Chamber World Music". Begleitet wird er von lngo Lohr mit der Gitarre auf der Wanderung durch die Türkei mit meditativen Klängen und orientalischen Rhythmen. Mit von der Partie sind Martina Binning am Kontrabass und mit der Flöte sowie Eva Gotthold mit der Violine und Carsten Nagel am Cello.

The title of the new CD released by lsmail Türker and his partners in music serves as the table of content. Turkish cities and sites are poetically and musically depicted. They range from lstanbul to lzmir in the south, all the way to the Lycian coast. This musical meandering through Turkey makes stops in cities as well as small villages, on sun-baked earth, in abundant bowers, beside the roaring sea.
The Osnabrück artist, lsmail Türker, always surprises his listeners at his concerts with new constellations: at times he plays solo, or in a duo, or trio, or with a full band - this time, for "Saite an Seite", he his presenting a new ensemble, the "Chamber World Music". He is accompanied by Ingo Lohr playing meditative sounds and oriental rhythms on guitar on the ramble through Turkey. On board, too, are Martina Binning on double bass and Eva Gotthold with the violin and Carsten Nagel on cello.
