Die Band The Hondells war ein Projekt des Produzenten, Musikers und Songschreibers Gary Usher, der Anfang der 60er Jahre in Kalifornien tätig war. Gary Usher arbeitete beispielsweise mit Brian Wilson von The Beach Boys zusammen, und er schrieb gemeinsam mit Wilson zehn Songs für die legendäre Gruppe, darunter "In My Room" und "409". Darüber hinaus produzierte er The Byrds und Sons Of Adam. Die vorliegende CD vereint gleich zwei Alben der The Hondells. Fans von 60er Rock'n'Roll kommen hier voll auf ihre Kosten!
