Am 7. Juni 2013 stürmten Europe in ihrem Heimatland Schweden zu einem ganz besonderen Anlass die Bühne: ihrem sage und schreibe 30-jährigen Bühnenjubiläum.
Gemeinsam mit 30.000 jubelnden Fans feierte die Band auf dem berühmt-berüchtigten Sweden Rock Festival und spielte unglaubliche 28 Songs - eine karriere-umfassende Setlist, die alte Klassiker, neue Aufnahmen und sogar live noch nie performte Songs beinhaltete.
Während der bombastischen Greatest-Hits-Show gab es aber auch die ruhigen Momente, als die Band ein emotionales Akustikset spielte und so für ein einzigartig intimes Gefühl während der sonst so groß angelegten Arenashow sorgte.
Um ihren eigenen Helden Tribut zu zollen, luden Europe ganz besondere Gäste ein: Scott Gorham (Thin Lizzy) und Michael Schenker (UFO, Ex-Scorpions), mit denen sie jeweils Coverversionen von Thin Lizzys „Jailbreak“ und UFOs „Lights Out“ performten.
Die abwechslungsreiche Setlist steckt voller Schätze und enthält Hits wie „Carrie“, „Rock The Night“, „Superstitious“, „New Love In Town“ und, natürlich, den immer mitreißenden Klassiker schlechthin: „The Final Countdown“.
Fans kommen in den Genuss von über zwei Stunden und vierzig Minuten Konzertgenuss. Dazu enthalten die DVD und Blu-ray ausführliches „Behind The Scenes“-Material sowie ein exklusives Interview mit der Band.
