»I Wish I Could Stay Here« ist das Debüt-Studioalbum der englischen Rockband Basement.
Nach ihrer Gründung im Jahr 2010 veröffentlichte die Band ein Demo und unterschrieb bei Run for Cover. Im Anschluss daran tourte die Band Ende 2010 und Anfang 2011 durch Großbritannien und Europa. Ihr Debütalbum nahmen sie im Mai 2011 in den Stuck on a Name Studios in Nottingham auf und veröffentlichten es zwei Monate später.
