"Invitation to the Dance" ist das zweite Album der Nu-Metal-Band 40 Below Summer. Das Album wurde am 16. Oktober 2001 veröffentlicht. Das Album kombiniert die Downtuned-Riffs des Nu Metal / Alternative Metal mit Elementen des New Jersey Hardcore, Hip Hop, Jazz und Hard Rock. "Invitation to the Dance" wurde mit Hilfe des bekannten Rock- und Metal-Produzenten GGGarth (Rage Against the Machine, Mudvayne) produziert.
Allmusic schrieb über das Album: "'Invitation to the Dance' mag auf den ersten Blick wie ein weiteres Hard-Rock-Album wirken, aber bei näherer Betrachtung wird deutlich, dass 40 Below Summer danach strebt, das aufzupeppen, was moderner Hard-Rock im 21. Jahrhundert geworden ist."
