Tief im Dschungel der Philippinen haben drei japanische Offiziere Gold versteckt, welches sie im 2. Weltkrieg geraubt hatten. 36 Jahre später ermordet Rex Larson die Offiziere, um so an eine Karte zu gelangen, in der das Versteck eingezeichnet ist. Mit dem Geld eines Millionärs wird eine Expedition ausgerüstet, um das Gold zu bergen.
