Jay Mallory ist Berufskiller. Kühl und zweckorientiert führt er Morde aus, die man ihm aufträgt. Emotionen kennt er nicht - zumindest meint er das. Als seine Frau verschwindet, ändert sich das schlagartig. Zu seiner Angst und Unruhe kommt bald auch noch das Gefühl der Eifersucht, denn er erfährt, dass seine Frau einen Liebhaber hat.
