Eine britische Raummission zur Erforschung des Halley'schen Kometen entdeckt in seinem Schweif ein geheimnisvolles Flugobjekt. An Bord findet die Crew Leichen, zwei unbekannte Männer und eine verführerisch-schöne Frau im Tiefschlaf. Sie beginnt mit der Bergung und löst damit eine Katastrophe aus.
