Als Nachfolger der Blu-ray Disc ist die Ultra HD Blu-ray ein optischer Datenspeicher für Filme im Ultra-High-Definition-Format. Die namensgebende Ultra-HD-Auflösung beträgt maximal 3840 × 2160 Pixel. Im Gegensatz zum Vorgänger werden zudem ein hoher Kontrastumfang, eine höhere Bildwiederholrate und ein größerer Farbraum unterstützt. Normale Blu-ray-Player können die neuen Medien nicht wiedergeben. Ultra-HD-Blu-ray-fähige Geräte sind in der Regel abwärtskompatibel.

In the dark of a stormy night, young boy David MacLean (Jimmy Hunt) witnesses a flying saucer land in a sandpit in his small, American town. It's not long before the adults, including his very own parents, appear...changed. Desperate for help, David enlists physician Dr. Pat Blake (Helena Carter) and local astronomer Dr. Stuart Kelston (Arthur Franz), to try and stop the invasion of the green, brainwashing, monsters.
