Die Werbefachleute Harry Berg und Jo Sommer machen Urlaub am Bodensee. Da taucht Fee auf, eine kapriziöse junge Witwe, die Harry reichlich strapaziert hat. Um Fee zu entrinnen, kaufen Harry und Jo ein Boot, mit dem sie einige Zeit auf dem Bodensee verbringen wollen. Als Smutje stößt noch der Kunsthändler Georg Nolte zu ihnen, Georg sucht Abwechslung von seiner Familie. Fee und Frau Nolte nehmen in einem gecharterten Boot die Verfolgung der Ausreißer auf.
