Ultra HD Blu-ray

As the successor to the Blu-ray Disc, the Ultra HD Blu-ray is an optical data storage device for movies in ultra-high definition format. The eponymous Ultra HD resolution is a maximum of 3840 × 2160 pixels. In contrast to its predecessor, it also supports a higher contrast range, a higher refresh rate and a larger color space. Normal Blu-ray players cannot play the new media. Ultra HD Blu-ray-capable devices are usually backward compatible.

Blu-Ray Disc

The Blu-Ray was developed as a high-definition successor to the DVD and offers a significantly increased data rate and storage capacity compared to its predecessor. Blu-Rays can therefore store movies with significantly better resolution and offer enormously high picture quality on corresponding screens. Blu-Ray players are usually backward compatible with DVDs, so that they can also be played.

DVD

Most of the offered DVDs have the region code 2 for Europe and the PAL picture format. However, we also offer releases from the USA, which come on the market in NTSC format and with the country code 1. This is then indicated in our item details.

Hongkong zu Beginn der 1960er Jahre: Yuddy ist ein Charmeur und Womanizer, der lässig in den Tag hinein lebt. Eines Tages lernt er Su Lizhen kennen. Jeden Tag besucht er sie an ihrem Arbeitsplatz an der Kasse eines Fußballstadions. Als sich herausstellt, dass Yuddy nicht bereit ist, Lizhen zu heiraten, endet die Romanze und sie bleibt mit gebrochenem Herzen zurück. Lizhen findet Trost in nächtlichen Spaziergängen mit dem melancholischen Polizisten Tide, der davon träumt, zur See zu fahren. Und während sich die beiden zaghaft näherkommen, stürzt sich Yuddy in eine Beziehung mit der Kabarett-Tänzerin Mimi, in die auch sein Kindheitsfreund Zeb verliebt ist...
