The Blu-Ray was developed as a high-definition successor to the DVD and offers a significantly increased data rate and storage capacity compared to its predecessor. Blu-Rays can therefore store movies with significantly better resolution and offer enormously high picture quality on corresponding screens. Blu-Ray players are usually backward compatible with DVDs, so that they can also be played.

Nachdem sein Partner und Chef Marvin sich mit dem gesamten Geld aus einem aufgeflogenen Versicherungsbetrug aus dem Staub gemacht hat, flieht der Finanzmanager Jimmy Cremming vor dem FBI nach Bangkok und taucht dort unter. In Thailand erfährt er, dass Marvin sich im kambodschanischen Dschungel versteckt hält. Auf der Suche nach ihm lernt er die attraktive Archäologin Sophie kennen, die mit ihm ein neues Leben in Laos beginnen will.
