As the successor to the Blu-ray Disc, the Ultra HD Blu-ray is an optical data storage device for movies in ultra-high definition format. The eponymous Ultra HD resolution is a maximum of 3840 × 2160 pixels. In contrast to its predecessor, it also supports a higher contrast range, a higher refresh rate and a larger color space. Normal Blu-ray players cannot play the new media. Ultra HD Blu-ray-capable devices are usually backward compatible.
Blu-Ray DiscThe Blu-Ray was developed as a high-definition successor to the DVD and offers a significantly increased data rate and storage capacity compared to its predecessor. Blu-Rays can therefore store movies with significantly better resolution and offer enormously high picture quality on corresponding screens. Blu-Ray players are usually backward compatible with DVDs, so that they can also be played.

Der verträumte Stadtfischer Axel wird von seinem Bruder Paul aus seiner Wahlheimat New York in die Einöde Arizonas verschleppt. Er steigt in das Cadillac-Geschäft seines Onkels Leo ein und verliert schnell sein Herz an seine erste Kundin, die ältere Elaine. Auch Elaine hat Träume, die Axel gern für sie verwirklichen will. Elaines Stieftochter Grace versucht immer wieder, die Beziehung der beiden zu sabotieren.
Auf melancholische, aber nicht minder komische Art setzt sich ARIZONA DREAM mit dem »American Way of Life« auseinander. Der Film zeichnet sich durch seine traumwandlerischen, surrealen Sequenzen, sowie seine zahlreichen Verweise auf Filmklassiker wie »Der Pate - Teil II« oder »Der unsichtbare Dritte« aus. Die grandiose schauspielerische Leistung von Johnny Depp und Faye Dunaway bilden das Herzstück des beeindruckenden Schauspieler-Ensembles, zu dem außerdem Jerry Lewis, Lili Taylor und Vincent Gallo gehören. 1993 gewann das charmante Drama auf der Berlinale den Silbernen Bären als Sonderpreis der Jury.
