Kultregisseur Larry Cohen versteckt sein fliegendes Monster nicht vor dem Publikum, sondern lässt das Special-Effects-Team, das später mit ROBOCOP und GHOSTBUSTERS Weltruhm erlangen sollte, für ein glorreiches Creature-Feature-Gemetzel von der Leine. Natürlich darf auch ein Cast aus Legenden wie David Carradine und Richard Roundtree nicht fehlen, um AMERICAN MONSTER zum perfekten Kultfilm zu machen. Ein gefundenes Fressen für Genre-Fans, das jetzt endlich seine deutsche Blu-ray-Premiere feiert!
