About the film

Als ein weiterer Jahrestag ohne Heiratsantrag vergeht, will die zielstrebige Anna die Sache selbst in die Hand nehmen. Kurz entschlossen fliegt sie ihrem Freund Jeremy nach Dublin hinterher, um ihm, einem alten irischen Brauch folgend, am 29. Februar selbst einen Antrag zu machen. Als ihr Flugzeug jedoch am anderen Ende der Insel notlanden muss, ist sie auf die Hilfe des Pub-Besitzers Declan angewiesen. Während die beiden sich quer über die Insel zanken, entdeckt Anna, dass die Reise zum Glück oft anders verläuft als geplant.
