1885, London: Dennis Orloff ist Arzt und kümmert sich aufopfernd um seine Patienten. Doch nachts wird er zu "Jack the Ripper", einem bestialischen Mörder, der Londons Prostituierte in dunklen Ecken sadistisch und blutig ausweidet! Mit Hilfe seiner behinderten Magd Frieda zerstückelt er die Frauen und versenkt die Leichenteile in der Themse. Scotland Yard jagt den Serienkiller, aber es gelingt dem Schlächter immer wieder zu entkommen. Gequält durch Alpträume, in denen er von seiner Mutter misshandelt wird, verfällt der Ripper immer mehr dem Wahnsinn.
