About the film

Die Polizei versucht, einen "Buchhalter" der sizilianischen Mafia und dessen Familie zu schützen, da er bereit ist, in Mailand in einem Prozeß gegen die "Familie" auszusagen.

Trotz Polizeischutz werden seine Frau und sein vierjähriger Sohn auf der Fahrt in den Norden umgebracht, wodurch klar wird, dass die Mafia Hintermänner in Polizei und Justiz eingeschleust hat. Er setzt daher die Fahrt mit seiner Tochter ohne Geleitschutz fort und gerät in weitere Hinterhalte.
