A Shade Of Blue (Hybrid-SACD)
The SACD uses a higher digital resolution than the audio CD and also offers the possibility to store multi-channel sound (surround sound). To enjoy the music in high-end quality, a special SACD player is required. Thanks to the hybrid function, most of the products marked "SACD" in our store can also be played on conventional CD players. In this case, however, the sound does not differ from that of a normal CD. In case of deviations, we point this out separately (non-hybrid).

Das Tsuyoshi Yamamoto Trio ist eine feste Größe in den Sammlungen audiophiler Jazzklavierfreunde. Die Veröffentlichungen auf dem Label »Three Blind Mice« machten Yamamoto, den ehemaligen Hausmusiker des Tokioter Jazzclubs »Misty«, in der Szene weltweit bekannt, sein Debütalbum »Midnight Sugar« von 1974 erreichte Kultstatus.
Mit »A Shade Of Blue» veröffentlicht die Evolution Music Group nun einen aktuellen Leckerbissen des Trios, der 2021 live im Gotanda Cultural Center in Tokio aufgenommen wurde. Gespielt wird eine Mischung aus zeitlosen Jazz-Standards, eingängigen Popsongs und markanten Eigenkompositionen; die hervorragende Chemie zwischen den drei Musikern ist in jedem Titel intensiv spürbar und macht einfach Spaß.
