Westbrook Records präsentiert diese zuvor unveröffentlichte Doppel-CD mit ausgewählten Highlights des Mike Westbrook Festivals, die Anfang der 1990er Jahre in Catania mit dem Mike Westbrook Orchestra und Solisten wie Alan Barnes, Chris Biscoe, Kate Westbrook, Pete Saberton und Alan Wakeman aufgenommen wurde.
1992 fand in Catania (Sizilien) ein dreitägiges Mike Westbrook Music Festival statt. Das Mike Westbrook Orchestra, das von der Associazione Catania Jazz präsentiert wurde, spielte, gemeinsam mit ihren Gästen, an drei aufeinander folgenden Abenden. Ihr Set bestand aus Stücken der Werke Citadel / Room 315, Big Band Rossini, After Smith’s Hotel und The European Song Book.
Das Album Catania besteht aus verschiedenen Live-Aufnahmen der Konzerte. Das 2-Disc-Album kommt als attraktives Digipack und enthält ein 12-seitiges Booklet mit exklusiven Fotos und Notes.
