Ab Herbst 2025 auf Vinyl erhältlich: »Le Grand Michel (A Journey With Michel Legrand)« von Giovanni Ceccarelli und Ferruccio Spinetti auf Label Bonsai Musiques.
Nachdem sie sich bereits mit dem Werk von Ennio Morricone beschäftigt haben (Album »More Morricone« im Jahr 2020), widmen sich Giovanni Ceccarelli und Kontrabassist Ferruccio Spinetti nun einem weiteren großen Komponisten: Michel Legrand. Ihr neues Projekt mit dem Titel »Le grand Michel – A journey with Michel Legrand« erschließt ein breites Repertoire, das sowohl Werke aus den Filmen von Jacques Demy als auch Songs umfasst, die für Claude Nougaro, Ray Charles und Hollywood komponiert wurden.
Für dieses Album, produziert von Bonsaï Music, luden Giovanni Ceccarelli und Ferruccio Spinetti herausragende Künstler ins Studio ein: André Ceccarelli, Enrico Pieranunzi, Camille Bertault, Jean Guidoni, Chiara Civello.
