The SACD uses a higher digital resolution than the audio CD and also offers the possibility to store multi-channel sound (surround sound). To enjoy the music in high-end quality, a special SACD player is required. Thanks to the hybrid function, most of the products marked "SACD" in our store can also be played on conventional CD players. In this case, however, the sound does not differ from that of a normal CD. In case of deviations, we point this out separately (non-hybrid).

Thilo Wagner, Piano, Jean-Philippe Wadle, Kontrabass, und Florian Hermann, Drums, haben sich für diese Aufnahme zum Quartett erweitert: die Jazz-Sängerin Barbara Bürkle aus Stuttgart und das Bassface Swing Trio spielten im Northeimer Studio acht Stücke aus ihrem Cole Porter-Repertoire. Die vier Musiker haben wieder Großartiges geleistet: die Cole Porter-Stücke (z. B. „Night And Day“, „Easy To Love“ oder „It´s De-Lovely“) klingen nicht nur gut, sondern swingen mitreißend oder schwelgen balladesk („Ev´ry Time We Say Goodbye“). Thilo Wagner's improvisatorische Einfälle auf dem Piano lassen den Hörer immer wieder schmunzeln, Barbara Bürkle’s Stimme bietet die gesamte Dynamik - von zart gehaucht bis fortissimo-Gesang voller Power!
