Lyn's Une
The SACD uses a higher digital resolution than the audio CD and also offers the possibility to store multi-channel sound (surround sound). To enjoy the music in high-end quality, a special SACD player is required. Thanks to the hybrid function, most of the products marked "SACD" in our store can also be played on conventional CD players. In this case, however, the sound does not differ from that of a normal CD. In case of deviations, we point this out separately (non-hybrid).

Alyn Cosker zählt seit Jahren zu den Größen der schottischen Musik-Szene. Er spielte u. a. mit Tommy Smith, Lee Konitz, Bheki Mseleku, Claire Martin, Annie Ross, Frank Gambale, Geoff Gascoigne, Crare Teal und Steve Hamilton. Auf »Lyn’s Une« beweist Cosker eindrucksvoll, dass er nicht nur den swingenden, mitreissenden Rhythmus im Blut hat, sondern auch, dass in in ihm ein erstklassiger Komponist und Arrangeur steckt. »Lyn’s Une« ist ein überaus vielseitiges, sehr spannendes Album, das mit einem bunten Genre-Mix aufwartet, wobei aber klar die Wurzeln aller Beteiligten ganz tief im modernen Jazz liegen.
