Wer von uns kann behaupten, schon einmal die Kombination Akkordeon – Zither bewusst gehört zu haben? Die Schweizer Akkordeonistin Viviane Chassot führt uns mit ihrem Partner Martin Mallaun an der Zither hinein in eine musikalische „Terra incognita“: Von Couperin bis Cage stammt die Musik, die die beiden Künstler auch zum großen Teil selbst bearbeitet haben. Da verschmelzen in einem Wimpernschlag Renaissance und Moderne, Tango und Avant-Garde. Eine spannendere Duo-Begegnung kann man sich kaum vorstellen.
