»Als ich mit der Komposition und den Arrangements der Stücke für diese Suite begann, dachte ich über die verschiedenen Gegenden Schwedens nach, das 25 Landkreise hat. Mir kam die Idee, Orgelwerke zu schreiben, die von diesen Landkreisen inspiriert und ihnen gewidmet sind. Einige habe ich direkt für Orgel komponiert, andere sind Adaptionen von Liedern aus meinen Musicals. Alle haben doppelte Titel: einmal den Namen des Landkreises, zum anderen einen Bibelvers.« (Mats Hylander)
